Jiří Krtička
born on April 29, 1954 in Šumperk. In 1973 - 1978 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. Since 1990 he has been teaching painting at the Department of Art Education at the Pedagogical Faculty, Palacký University in Olomouc. In 1997 he qualified as an associate professor in the field of painting. He has had solo exhibitions since 1983 (the Czech Republic). His works have been on display in collective exhibitions since 1979 e.g. in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Switzerland and Japan. His works of art can be seen in the collections of the Olomouc Museum of Arts (Muzeum umění Olomouc) and in the regional History and Ethnography Museum in Šumperk (Vlastivědné muzeum). He has been a member of the Club of Concretists 2 since 1999.
Ladislav Daněk
born on January 9, 1958 in Přerov. Painter and draftsman. In 1977 - 79 he studied Art at the Pedagogical and Philosophical Faculties at Palacký University in Olomouc, he did not complete his studies. Since 1990 he has been working as a curator in the Museum of Arts in Olomouc. He has held solo exhibitions since 1983, e.g. in the Czech Republic and Switzerland. He has been exhibiting in collective exhibitions since 1979 (the Czech Republic and Slovakia). His works can be found in the collections of the East Bohemian Gallery in Pardubice (Východočeská galerie). A member of the Club of Concretists 2 since 1997.
Dana Puchnarová
born on January 22, 1938 in Prague. Painter, draftsman and graphic artist. In 1958 - 1964 she studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. Since 1991 she has taught drawing at the Department of Art Education at the Pedagogical Faculty of Palacký University in Olomouc. In 1994 she qualified as an associate professor in the field of drawing. Her first solo exhibition was held in 1964. Since then her works can be seen by the public in the Czech and Slovak Republics and in Germany. She started taking part in collective exhibitions in 1966 and has her pieces of art exhibited in many countries, e.g. Austria, Germany, The Netherlands, France, Sweden, Belgium, Italy, the USA, Canada, Poland, Japan and England. Her works can be found in public collections both at home and abroad (Austria, Poland). She became a member of the Club of Concretists 2 in 1999.
Vladimír Havlík
born on February 7, 1959 in Nové Město na Moravě. Painter, draftsman and performer. In the years 1978 - 1983 he studied at the Department of Art Education at the Pedagogical Faculty of Palacký University in Olomouc, where in 1990 he started teaching performance art. Since 1998 he has been simultaneously working as the Head of the Department of Painting at the Faculty of Visual Arts at the Technical Univerity in Brno. In 1998 he qualified as an associate professor in the field of painting. The start of his solo exhibitions can be traced back in 1983. He has exhibited at home and in the USA. He has been involved in collective exhibitions since 1982, e.g. in Hungary, Poland, The Netherlands, Switzerland, the USA, Japan and Austria. His works can be found in the collections of the Museum of Arts in Olomouc and in the Landesmuseum in Linz, Austria. Since 1999 he has been a member of the Club of Concretists 2.
Zdeněk Kučera
born on May 1, 1935 in Litovel. Sculptor, painter, graphic artist and draftsman. In 1952 - 1957 he studied Art at the Department of Art and Art Theory at the Philosophical Faculty of Palacký University in Olomouc and Mathematics at the Faculty of Science at the same university. Since 1992 he has been teaching sculpture at the Department of Art Education at the Pedagogical Faculty of Palacký University in Olomouc. In 1992 he qualified as an associate professor in the field of sculpture and in 1997 he was appointed a university professor. He has been exhibiting since 1967 in the Czech Republic, Germany, The Netherlands, Poland and Canada. He has also taken part in collective exhibitions since 1966 (Czechoslovakia, Slovak Republic, Germany, Italy, Hungary, Spain, Yugoslavia, Austria, the USA, Poland , Japan, The Netherlands, Belgium and France). His works can be found in public collections both in his native country and abroad (Germany, The Netherlands, France, Egypt, Slovenia). He became a member of the Club of Concretists as early as 1968. In 1997 he was one of the initiators of the Club's revival under the name of the Club of Concretists 2.
Pavel Herynek
born on November 1, 1943 in Polička. Draftsman and jewellery maker. In 1959 - 1963 he studied at the Secondary School of Applied Arts in Brno, and in 1964 - 1969 at the Department of Art and Art Theory at the Philosophical Faculty of Palacký University in Olomouc. From 1990 on he has taught three-dimensional art and Metal and jewellery making at the Department of Art Education at the Pedagogical Faculty of Palacký University in Olomouc. In 1994 he qualified as an associate professor in the field of applied arts. His first solo exhibition dates back to 1974. He has been exhibiting his works in collective exhibitions since 1978 (the Czech and Slovak Republics, Monaco, Poland, Austria, Germany, France, England, the USA, The Netherlands and Japan). Some of his works are housed in public art collections both at home and abroad (Slovakia, Germany, the USA). He joined the Club of Concretists 2 in 1999.
Vladimír Pospíšil
born on June 10, 1957 in Olomouc. Painter, self-taught. In 1972 - 1975 he completed his apprenticeship as a fitter in the firm Morávia in Mariánské Údolí. In 1992 - 1996 he studied traditional astrology privately with Josef Andra, and in 1996 - 98 he carried on with his studies at Pavel Turnovsky's private school of humanistic and transpersonal astrology in Prague. Since 1994 he has worked as a janitor at the Masaryk primary school in Velká Bystřice. He has been exhibiting since 1996 in the Czech Republic. Since 1990 he has been exhibiting his works in collective exhibitions. He joined the Club of Concretists 2 in 1999.
